I originally saw this bag in its first iteration and really liked the design, aesthetics and overall versatility of it. I really liked the O.D. Green but unfortunately (fortunately) it was out of stock. I reached out through email about if/when that color would be back and Austin at NSG responded almost immediately letting me know they were announcing something in the coming weeks. Eventually the pre-order for the new Paradigm 25 was live and I was happy to get in on it and help support a small business and so far I am not disappointed. This pack is extremely rugged and seems to be very well made. It's great for EDC, work, hiking, traveling, hunting, you name it, this is a great bag for it. The adjustabilty is great and once you get it dialed in for your preference it's super comfortable to carry. The magnetic features work great. The admin pockets is a great addition and all in all there is enough pockets and organization without there being too much to keep up with. I own Mystery Ranch and Eberlestock packs and this bag is on par or even above in many aspects as those tried and true brands. Definitely looking forward to what these guys put out next.
I own both the original as well as the new paradigm 25. The original shoulder straps made a lot of noise but had way better padding. While the 25 straps aren’t as thick and comfortable, they feel much more secure. The grab handle on the original is way better than the grab handle on the 25. I absolutely love the external pocket on the 25, which was the key selling point to getting the 25. The new 25 does feel better against my back. The shrink wrap on the zipper pulls weren’t heated on the 25 when i received it (easy fix for the average user), but that could just be because its from the first batch. While this sounds like a negative review, its not. I absolutely love both packs and highly recommend!!!!! If they changed the grab handle and the padding to match the original, the 25 would be the PERFECT bag!!!!!
I have been through a lot of backpacks for hunting and deployments. This is the best one I have ever had to do anything with. It's going to be great this hunting season.
This is the second one I have bought in the past 9 months. I love the radian rig.
